Bluestone, which is sourced primarily from Pennsylvania, is widely used for pavement and coping. It comes in two colours: select (solid blue with no variation) and full colour, which contains shades of blue, brown, green, rust and tan. It should be noted that this stone does not lend itself well to split finishes. Bluestone is also used in masonry, either in guillotined sawn block or natural.
