This application replaces conventional masonry stone. The stones are sawn on the back (about 1½" thick), for good adhesion to the surface to be covered, and some are sawn at 90 degrees, to give the same depth effect as conventional masonry. This type of stone therefore lends itself to a wider variety of projects since it is thinner and does not require a structure to the wall. Veneer stone can be installed for both indoor fireplaces and outdoor kitchens, allowing you to do your work in all seasons, if necessary. Veneer stone can be installed as a kitchen backsplash, wall application, around a fireplace and even in the making of an outdoor kitchen. Veneer stone and masonry stone, depending on the type of stone, are available in two cutting styles: stick or crazy.
